Alay Kosku

Native name: Alay Kosku Audience Pavilion is located on the left of Gulhane Park over the walls. It was built, in place of an old structure, by Mahmut II (1808-39) in 1819, for the sultan to watch the great parades. The Mansion is polygonal in shape with only one room in addition to other rooms with various sizes for servants. The building is toped by a wide fringed onion-headed lead cone.
