Fener Greek High School (Known also as Red School because it was made with red bricks) can be found on the steep hillside overlooking the Golden Horn, in the district of Fener. It is a school with a history extending form 1454 to the present day. In the past, the school used to have lots of students and workers, but today there is only 50 students there. The Greek schools of Istanbul give education and priority for the Greek education of minority's members, and Fener School is considered the most activate school of the Greek minority in Istanbul.
Fener Greek High School is open from Monday to Friday, 07:30 am to 3:00 pm.
