Native name: Ihlamur Kasri
It is located against the Sea Museum, after Ortabahe Avenue. The area of the palace was a promenade area known as Haci Huseyin Vineyards which was used in the reign of Ahmet III (1703-1730) and after as a relaxation and entertaining area for the palace members. The well-known French poet Lamartine was hosted by Abdulmecit (1839-61) in this place. Later on, Merasim Kiosk (Ihlamur Qasr, named after the linden trees that grow in its garden) and Maiyet Kiosk were built in place of Haci Huseyin Vineyards Kiosk in between 1849-55 by Nikogos Babyan. The Merasim Kiosk was used for official ceremonies while the Maiyet Kiosk sheltered the sultan's entourage and, on occasions, his harem on their excursions out of the palace confines.
