Miniaturk is a museum located across the shore of the Golden Horn. It was opened in May, 2003. There are models of many important places and historical-works-in-Turkey exhibited as well as a model of the Ottoman geography. Miniaturk covers a total area of 60.000 m² and thus considered the world's largest miniature park with its 15.000 m² model area, 40.000 m² of open space, 3.500 m² of covered area, 2.000 m² of pools and waterways as well as a parking area with a capacity of 500 vehicles.
