After Ortakoy, the coast side of the avenue through Kurucesme has some famous nigh clubs. Kurucesme was in the past a very rich place with the mansions of famous people located there. It has taken its name from the fountain located on the roadside of Tezkireci Osman Efendi Mosque. A boat can be rented from the coasts of Kurucesme and can be used to sail to Galatasaray Island which has a restaurant and a wonderful pool that opens in summer. Kuleli Military High School is also found on the other side and attracts attention. On the Kirbac Street which crosses the coast avenue, there are Surp Hac Greek Church built in 1834 and Hagios Dimitros Greek Church which was built in 1820.
