Tunnel

Native name: Tunel The beginning of the Tunnel is where Istiklal Avenue ends. Construction of the Tunnel began in 1871 and it was opened in 1875. The tunnel connect Beyoglu and KarakoyIt with a 573 meters long underground public transportation system. It has a historical importance since it is considered the second oldest underground public transportation system.
