Ancient Orient Museum is the first building of the Archaeological Museums. Originally, it was a school which was converted into a museum in 1917. In this museum, there is a unique and beautiful collection of artifacts brought from Egypt and the Middle Eastern countries which were under Ottoman rule, as well as relics from ancient Anatolian civilizations. Collection includes sarcophagus and mummy examples of Egypt Civilization, plates of various periods and many other objects.
