The noas is the main body of the church after the central doors of the esonarthex . At the center of the naos rises the largest dome in the church with a diameter of 7 . 7m . Two other smaller domes flank the apse: the northern dome is over the prothesis while the southern dome is over the diaconicon , which is reached via the parecclesion . Some of the scenes located here include Koimesis , the Dormition of the Virgin , Before ascending to Heaven , her last sleep;
