The Secreteriat's Hall

The Clerk's Hall , known also as "Tiled Room" is the second room after the Medhal to the right . In this room , there is the largest painting in the palace collection hanging on the left wall , depicting the Surre Procession by Stefano Ussi . Surre refers to the caravan traveled from Istanbul to Mecca during the religious month of Recep bearing the monetary aid used to support the maintenance and the decoration of the Kabba , as well as to provide help to local people of Hegaz .

On the right wall , there is a painting by the Austrian artist Rudoplh Ernst depicting the fire at the Paris Municipal Theater . Beside it is another painting of a Dutch Village Girl by Delandre . The room has French style furniture and contains some of the very valuable porcelain vases .
